The Scientix STEM Discovery Campaign 2026 (SDC26), co-organised by Scientix and the NBS Academy project, is a major international initiative inviting educators, schools, and organisations worldwide to celebrate and share their STEM activities. The campaign runs from 1 February to 30 April 2026, with a peak of activities from 25 to 30 April.

Participants are encouraged to pin their STEM activities on the campaign’s interactive map, making their work visible to a global community. In 2026, the campaign focuses on Sustainability and Nature-Based Solutions, aligning with broader European educational goals.

Over 20 Scientix Awards are available for outstanding entries, including the Next-Gen Shapers Award (supported by the THEMIS 5.0 project, focused on trustworthy AI) and the STEAM Synergies Award (supported by the STEAMbrace project, recognising activities that encourage girls and women to approach STEAM subjects). These awards showcase learning scenarios and stories of implementation from educators across Europe.

To participate, educators can log in to the Scientix platform and submit their entries via the submission form. All entries must be finalised by 30 April 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for STEAM educators to gain recognition, connect with peers, and contribute to a growing European STEM education community.
