The INCLUDE project launches its Community of Practice (CoP) on 22 April 2026, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and institutional stakeholders committed to advancing intersectional gender equality in the BioMedical Research and Innovation (R&I) sector.

INCLUDE is a Horizon Europe-funded project coordinated by Smart Venice, with 11 partners from 10 European countries forming a geographically inclusive consortium spanning Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Europe. The project addresses intersectional gender inequalities within biomedical research organisations by developing, piloting, and evaluating innovative Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) that integrate intersectionality at their core.

The Community of Practice, coordinated by IMBB/FORTH (Greece), will serve as a collaborative platform for cross-institutional learning and exchange. It will host thematic discussions, mentoring schemes, and training programmes focused on creating sustainable, inclusive change in research organisations. The CoP launch event invites stakeholders across the research community to join the conversation and contribute to shaping evidence-based approaches to intersectional gender equality.

Registration is open via Google Forms.
