FEMWORX is the longest-running career congress dedicated to women in STEM in Europe, held annually at HANNOVER MESSE in Hannover, Germany. The 2026 edition takes place on 23–24 April 2026 under the motto “Grow Together. Rise Higher.” and is held in the context of HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology.

Now in its 23rd year, FEMWORX brings together female professionals, leaders, and students from across the engineering, technology, and industrial sectors for two days of keynotes, workshops, career planning sessions, and panel discussions. A highlight is the annual Engineer Woman Awards, recognising outstanding achievements of women in engineering and industry. The congress offers structured mentoring meetings, networking opportunities with recruiters and company representatives, and discussions on career pathways, leadership, and work-life balance in STEM industries.

FEMWORX attracts participants from across Europe and beyond, addressing the persistent gender gap in engineering and industrial STEM sectors through visibility, role modelling, and professional community building. The event is co-organised with major industry partners including Siemens, BASF, Airbus, and Deutsche Telekom.
