WiDS Zürich — Women in Data Science Conference 2026

The Women in Data Science (WiDS) Zürich Conference takes place on 19 June 2026 in Zurich, Switzerland. It is a regional edition of the Stanford-based WiDS Worldwide initiative, which hosts nearly 200 regional events across 50+ countries each year, reaching over 100,000 participants annually.

The Zürich conference is organised with the support of the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich (UZH). It brings together diverse experts from academia, industry, and the public sector to share cutting-edge research, inspire new ideas, and support professional growth in data science, AI, and related fields. The event is open to everyone — all genders are welcome.

For the STREAM IT community, WiDS Zürich showcases the power of regional networks in promoting women’s participation in data science and technology. It aligns with the project’s objectives of challenging gender stereotypes, building professional communities, and inspiring the next generation of women in STEM.
