The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) International Leadership Conference (ILC) 2026 takes place on 3–4 October 2026. The theme is “Evolution: Advancing Leadership Across Generations.”

IEEE WIE is one of the world’s largest international professional organizations dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists. The ILC brings together women leaders, engineers, scientists, and students from around the globe for a programme of keynote talks, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions.

The 2026 conference focuses on intergenerational leadership, exploring how experienced professionals and emerging leaders can learn from one another to drive innovation and inclusion in engineering and technology.

IEEE WIE’s global network of Affinity Groups and Student Branch Affinity Groups organizes year-round activities supporting women in engineering, making the ILC a flagship event that showcases the breadth and impact of this community.

For the STREAM IT community, the IEEE WIE ILC demonstrates how large professional organizations can create dedicated spaces for women’s leadership development in STEM, inspiring the next generation of women engineers.
